COVID-19: Problemas e cuidados no parto, no nascimento e no pós-parto / COVID-19: Problems and care in childbirth, birth and postpartum
Abstract
A Síndrome respiratória aguda grave coronavírus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) é o vírus que causa a doença coronavírus 2019 (COVID-19). As pacientes com COVID-19 sintomáticas para determinar se é obstetricamente viável remarcar a indução ou cesariana até que os resultados do teste COVID-19 estejam disponíveis, se o resultado do teste for positivo, os pacientes podem se beneficiar do parto, uma vez que podem ficar mais gravemente doentes com o tempo. O COVID-19 não é uma indicação para alterar a rota planejada de parto em pacientes assintomáticos ou pacientes com infecção não grave. O parto cesáreo não parece reduzir o baixo risco de infecção neonatal, para pacientes com doença grave ou crítica, a indução pode ser realizada com segurança, mas uma indução longa pode ser impraticável do ponto de vista logístico se a paciente estiver intubada e em trabalho de parto em uma sala de cirurgia ou unidade de terapia intensiva.
