Abstract

Este artigo explora o tema da governança global da genética e aponta para prioridades que devem ser levadas em consideração na formulação de políticas para o setor de biotecnologia.  Argumenta-se que devem ser consideradas cinco prioridades: a heterogeneização da governança advinda de novos regimes jurídicos e novos atores, as cadeias de geração de valor das amostras, a demanda institucional para a análise das incertezas, a construção de redes laboratoriais e a observação das forças simbólicas que governam a legitimidade da ciência.  São sugeridas três categorias de amostras: in situ, in vitro e in silico.
