Proteção UV de tecidos de poliamida e de lã tingidos com folhas de teca / UV protection of polyamide and wool fabrics dyed with teak leaves

Abstract


O objetivo deste estudo foi o desenvolvimento de propriedades anti-UV em tecidos de poliamida 6.6 e tecidos de lã através do tingimento com extrato aquoso obtido a partir de folhas de teca (Tectona grandis). O extrato foi obtido em diferentes temperaturas para avaliar a influência dessa variável na eficiência de extração do corante. O tingimento foi otimizado pela análise da influência das variáveis mais importantes do processo, nomeadamente a temperatura e o pH. A maior eficiência de extração foi alcançada a 100 °C. Verificou-se que esta mesma temperatura e pH 5,0 (para poliamida) e pH 3,0 (para lã) foram as condições otimizadas que produziram os melhores resultados de intensidade de cor no tingimento. O fator de proteção UV (UPF) dos tecidos tingidos apresentou um aumento significativo após o processo de tingimento. As propriedades de solidez à lavagem e à fricção também foram avaliadas.
