Rendimento, caracterização e fitoquímica do óleo essencial de Tetradenia riparia/ Yield, characterization and phytochemistry of the essential oil of Tetradenia riparia

Desde os tempos antigos as plantas medicinais ajudaram no desenvolvimento da sociedade de forma a se alcançar os recursos atuais. A família Lamiaceae é uma das principais contendo um grande número de espécies com potencial medicinal e entre estas espécies está a Tetradenia riparia. A coleta das folhas de T. riparia se deu pela manhã no horto medicinal da Universidade Paranaense em Umuarama-PR. A extração do óleo essencial (OE) foi feita por hidrodestilação, o rendimento foi calculado com base nas massas de folhas frescas e de OE extraído, obtendo-se 0,4%. A caracterização química do OE foi realizada por cromatografia em fase gasosa acoplada a espectrômetro de massa, sendo encontrados 16 componentes e entre os majoritários identificados foram: Stigmasta-5,22-dien-3-ol (34,80%); Shyobunol (22,50%); ?-Terpinene (15,79%) e ?-Cembrenediol (11,05%).
