Abstract

A dermatite atópica (DA) é uma doença inflamatória crônica da pele, caracterizada por desregulação imunológica, disfunção da barreira cutânea e disbiose microbiana cutânea e intestinal e no intestino. Objetivo: revisar a literatura sobre as condutas nutricionais com a abordagem da nutrição clínica funcional na DA. Metodologia: trata-se de uma revisão narrativa, cuja busca foi estruturada com base na estratégia PICO, incluindo artigos originais e revisões dos últimos dez anos relacionando nutrição e suplementação na sintomatologia de indivíduos com DA. Resultado/Discussão: Foram identificadas cinco temáticas a respeito da DA como forma de reflexão e intervenção, a saber: 1) Relação entre a DA e a ingestão e suplementação de Vitamina D; 2) Relação entre dietas de exclusão em casos de alergia alimentar e DA; 3) Relação entre a DA e a suplementação de probiótico; 4) Relação entre dermatite atópica e a ingestão e suplementação de ácido graxo poliinsaturado ômega-3; e, 5) padrão alimentar anti-inflamatório relacionado com a DA. Conclusão: As condutas nutricionais baseadas em evidências e a utilização da abordagem da nutrição clínica funcional parecem influenciar positivamente o controle e o tratamento da DA.
