Abstract

Algoritmos de rastreio do ponto de máxima potência (Maximum Power Point Tracking - MPPT), associados a conversores bidirecionais (back-to-back) e geradores síncronos de imã permanente (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator - PMSG), são vastamente utilizados para extrair a máxima potência de sistemas eólicos (Wind Energy Conversion System - WECS) de velocidade variável. Neste trabalho são avaliados e comparados diversos métodos comumente utilizados em sistemas eólicos, indicando vantagens e desvantagens. Esses métodos apresentam diversos pontos que dificultam sua utilização em sistemas de baixa potência. As simulações apresentadas neste trabalho indicam que o método do controle adaptativo e a sua modificação são ótimas alternativas a serem aplicadas, visto que são algoritmos perfeitamente adaptáveis as mudanças climáticas e não necessitam de sensores de medição do vento e nem do conhecimento dos parâmetros do sistema.
