Cienciometria do uso de fontes de energia renováveis no meio rural / The scientometrics of the use of renewable energy sources in rural areas

Abstract

As fontes de energia renováveis surgem como uma alternativa no meio rural visando a diminuição do custo de produção e do uso de energéticos não-renováveis, estes de grande impacto ambiental. O uso de fontes de energia renováveis como a eólica, a solar, a biomassa, o biogás, dentre outras, pode ser uma alternativa economicamente viável para o produtor rural. No presente trabalho foi realizada a análise cienciométrica, através do mapeamento sistemático de publicações, para verificar a quantidade de produções científicas sobre o uso de fontes de energia renovável abrangendo ambientes rurais, no período entre 2009 e 2019. Foram utilizadas as bases de dados oferecidas pela Web of Science e Scopus por meio das palavras-chave: “renewable energy” (energia renovável), “rural areas” (áreas rurais) e “agriculture” (agricultura). A pesquisa resultou um total de 356 publicações, sendo que em 166 destes trabalhos o tema estava relacionado ao uso de energias renováveis em áreas rurais. Houve um aumento significativo na quantidade de publicações ao longo dos anos, no intervalo de tempo considerado. O período sucessivo a 2009 resultou no aumento de 163 publicações, o que corresponde a 98,19% das publicações, no período dos 11 anos verificados. A quantidade de estudos sobre a biomassa e biogás se destacam se comparados aos demais, devido à grande contribuição para proteção e preservação do meio ambiente.
