Indicação de sombreamento artificial para o cultivo de Carapichea Ipecacuanha de acordo com a atividade fotoquímica / Indication of artificial shading for the cultivation of Carapichea Ipecacuanha according to photochemical activity

A ipecacuanha (Carapichea ipecacuanha (Brot.) L.Andersson) produz em suas raízes compostos que possuem alto valor econômico para a indústria farmacêutica, a emetina e a cefalina. Com intuito de contornar o processo de extinção que vem ocorrendo com essa espécie, melhores formas de cultivo e reintrodução no habitat natural devem ser encontradas. Para tal, diversos aspectos fisiológicos precisam ser analisados, como por exemplo, a influência da intensidade luminosa no crescimento e desenvolvimento dessa planta. Desta forma, este trabalho avaliou como diferentes níveis de sombreamento podem influenciar na atividade fotoquímica da fotossíntese da ipecacuanha, em diferentes estações do ano. As plantas foram dispostas em três casas de vegetação com diferentes níveis de sombreamento (50, 70 e 90%), sendo considerado o sombreamento de 70% o controle. Foram realizadas análises de fluorescência transiente da clorofila a, de acordo com as estações de 2018 (verão, outono, inverno e primavera). O sombreamento de 90%, para todas as estações do ano, foi o mais adequado para a atividade fotoquímica da fotossíntese. No entanto, o sombreamento de 50% apresentou índice de performance inferior para todas as estações, quando comparados ao controle.
